Here are a few things I've bought at the Sephora VIB Sale that went on a couple of weeks ago... I do have to admit, I went a little crazy, but I've bought most of the products that I have been eyeing for a while now. Product names and links will be provided. I swatched this at the store and absolutely fell in love with the color and the finish. The color is almost a burnt orange nude color. It dries a definite matte color which makes a very chic look. I plan on buying the other colors in the Kat Von D liquid lipstick line.
I've been trying to find the right eyeliner for my waterline. Something that's a bright nude color that will last a long time and keeping that 'wide awake' look when you apply it. I have the tarte waterliner but I noticed that it wasn't very long wearing. I had heard about the Nars liner in Rue Bonaparte which is almost a bright beige nude color. I swatched it in Sephora and it didn't smear after you applied it, also it was water resistant. When you apply it in your waterline, it does wonders. It's almost a natural color and doesn't look like you applied liner. It also lasted longer than any eyeliner that Ive used to line my water line. I definitely recommend this liner if you are looking for something to make your eyes pop!
I know that last year, NARS came out with a similar palette like this. Sadly, I didn't get my hands on it. No worries though, because once I saw this at the store during the sale, I had to have it! It was most of NARS famous blush and bronzer palette. I am very excited to use this since it has such pigmented, versatile colors to choose from. I also love the highlight shade which is the first one on the top left... it has great shimmer to it, and it doesn't leave you feeling like you put a ton of highlighter on your face. The price for this palette wasn't bad at all. Comparing single blush and bronzers from the NARS cosmetics line, you are saving a significant amount of money!
